I’m working on the outline for my social media class next spring. One of the first things I need to lock down is a reading list. Given the frequently changing nature of social media, I expect that much of my information will come from the Internet. I would like to have a couple of touchstone reference sources to use throughout the class, though.
I’m leaning heavily toward Groundswell by Li and Bernoff. Essentially a 250-page Forrester research report on social media, Groundswell breaks down the uses, communities and strategies involved when implementing social media in a business strategy.
What others should I consider? Post a comment with your recommendations. I’ll check them all out and report back when I’ve made the final reading list.
